work this well without using harsh chemicals.”

Eliminating Allergies to Dust Mites |
|
If you're thinking you'd like to get eliminate dust mites, you are not alone. It's estimated dust mites cause allergy misery for one out every ten people.
What are dust mites?
- Dust mites are sightless insects closely related to the spider. Microscopic, eight-legged creatures, so small that hundreds of them live in every gram of dust. However, dust mites are not parasitic and do not bite.
What’s so bad about dust mites?
- Even in the most allergic people,
dust mites are harmless. The problem is a protein found in their droppings (called Der
p1). These particles are so small they can become airborne and inhaled when dust is disturbed.
- In its lifetime, a dust mite produces 200
times its weight in excrement droppings. It's this waste, a biochemical allergen that is what provokes
asthma and allergy misery.
- Der p1 is the single most common indoor
allergen. According
to EPA officials it is present, often at a dangerously high
level, in every home, office and school.
- Dust mites often live in dust. They float almost invisibly
in the open air, and land wherever there is dust to protect
them.
- Dust mites eat the dead skin and hair
that our bodies shed. So they
especially like to live where these residual human cells collect— towels, clothing, carpets, rugs,
upholstery and draperies.
- Dust mites are also found where we sleep, in mattress fibers and bedding. Humans continually shed skin and lose about 1/5 ounce of dead skin each week. Since we spend about one-third of our lives sleeping, you'll also find them in the bedroom.
- Dust mites also eat animal dander.
So allergens will be plentiful in areas where family pets sleep.
For people who do not have an allergy to dust mites, Der p1 is absolutely
harmless.
- But in sensitive individuals, Der
p1 causes an allergic response. Experts say that 10% of all adults and children have
an allergy to dust mites - which is actually an allergy to this Der pl.
- Put into everyday language, Der p1
makes their immune system overreact. It makes the body act like a threatening
environmental intruder has attacked.
- Antibodies rush throughout the body. They bind to the allergens, trying
to destroy them. It is this binding process that causes
dust mite allergy and asthma symptoms.
- Symptoms can be mild: a runny nose, itchy skin, coughing,
wheezing and headache.
But sometimes the problem with indoor allergies and dust mites can become much more serious.
- Experts report that 60 million Americans
have indoor allergies. Most of them are allergic to Der p1. For
some, the protein can cause difficulty breaking.
- Scientists know that mites provoke
allergy symptoms even more often in people with hay-fever allergies and asthma.
- Children are most at risk. In fact, public health
experts find that youngsters living in homes with high levels
of dust mites are 500% more likely to develop asthma.
Mite-NIX anti-allergen formulas instantly de-activate Der p1.
- Mite-NIX formulas actually deconstruct
Der p1 at a molecular level. It’s
like taking a giant rock and turning it into rubble. All
the elements are still there, but they have been made harmless.
- Mite-NIX formulas are safe to use even
around young babies because they are made exclusively from all-natural,
organic ingredients.
- Mite-NIX formulas cannot eliminate dust mites, or cure allergies to dust
mites but… with
regular use, they can help maintain a healthy environment in
every home and office area.
- So they can make life more comfortable. And
reduce the risk of developing allergies, and asthma developing in small children.
